Students Attend Oxbridge Open Day
Recently five of North Liverpool Academy’s Oxbridge hopefuls were invited down to an Open Day at Magdalene College, Cambridge to see what the University was like for themselves.
Whilst down there they experienced lectures, tutorials and mock-interviews, in addition to touring the University of Cambridge and its Colleges. Read more…
Chester Zoo…and baby went too!
The sixth form Health and Child Care students visited Chester Zoo on Monday 21st November.
The Health students completed a risk assessment that was part of their coursework whilst the Child Care students took the Real Care Babies to find out about facilities for babies in the zoo and also had an Educational talk about the benefits to children who visit the zoo in the EYFS and KS1. Reach Out Kensington Collection
Sixth form students organised collections for Reach Out Kensington.
The food drive aimed to provide non perishable items so that they could support disadvantaged families in Kensington.
The students also collected books so that they could support children with their reading skills at the reading club they volunteer at. Read More
